Started in 2000 from investing in 1 bedroom flat (Hempden Court, Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill, London N10) in JV with a friend. Bought for 120K with my friend putting a 10% deposit down, refurbished by myself whilst living in it and sold for 170K a year later.

In 2002 used 15K from the first sale as deposit and bought another 1 bedroom on my own in a triplex Victorian house for 150K. Did complete refurbishment with a lot of space saving solutions and turned an old persons outdated flat in a modern comfortable dwelling, which was mortgaged at 197K and put on a rental market. Current value is 370K and rent yield is £13,920.
In 2003 my then girlfriend jointly with her brother acquired a 2 bedroom flat in a Georgian house in up and coming location (Tollington Park, London). I did it up increasing value by almost 40%, which allowed them to re-mortgage and put it on rental market with a very high yield. Flat has never been vacant since 2005.

In 2005 me and my wife acquired 2 remaining flats (flat A and Garden flat at 48 Danvers Road) in the same Victorian triplex house in north London and refurbished both of them increasing value and rental yields and put them on rental market.

2006 we acquired 3 flats in unfinished triplex of a Victorian property (16 Sylvan Avenue, London N22). We split the electric and gas meters and did full upgrade of the properties including the garden split and re-drafting the leases. One of the flats was flipped and 2 others remain on the rental market yielding £10,800 and £11,400 and valued at £325,000 each (purchased at £106K each).

In 2015 I worked as Sales Director UK in one of the leading global serviced apartment companies in the world called Bridge Street, now part of National Corporate Housing and gained experience in serviced apartment business. I was in charge of the UK including Scotland and during this period traveled extensively and built up relationship with various serviced apartment operators in the country. My main expertise lies in selling serviced apartments to corporate clients.
